LGBTQ Commission-Kansas City’s first commission focused on creating a better KC for LGBTQ+ people.
We believe that if we center those most marginalized within the art community, we amplify the voices and experiences of those who have impacted the art world in the most phenomenal ways. Art allows people to express themselves in ways that can not only affirm but can also heal individuals and communities. We will keep having faith and keep believing that art will restore humanity because with art anything is possible.
