Kansas City Pride Parade
Q: Where is the Pride parade?
A: The parade kicks off at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 21st from Westport Rd. & Broadway Blvd. It will march south on Broadway, continue onto Mill Creek Parkway where it will turn LEFT onto Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd. and continue to the endpoint at Theis Park.
Q: How much does the parade cost?
A: There is no charge for the parade, just find your favorite location to view the parade along the route.
Q: Is the parade accessible?
A: We have ADA reserved parking available; approach from Central & 41st Street, West towards the designated lots.
An accessible parade viewing area will be reserved between 41st Street & Vietnam Veterans Memorial Drive on Broadway, directly across for the parade announcer stand.
A completed registration form and payment must be received by Noon August 14th for each entry.
**NO ENTRIES WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE DAY OF THE PARADE!**
PARADE ROUTE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE – NO RAIN DATE AND NO REFUNDS
Parade Check-in starts at 8:00 AM
Check-in location and procedures will be sent with your confirmation letter.
The parade line-up is determined in advance.
Your line position will be given to you when you check in.
All parade entrants must march in their assigned position and are not to “buddy up” with groups assigned elsewhere in the line-up.
All parade entrants are expected to follow all instructions given by the Parade Marshals, Parade Chairperson, and KCPCA Staff.
