James Moran (he/him) has been an activist and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community for nearly 20 years. He earned his BA in Women's Studies and American Studies from the University of Iowa, and his MA in Women's and Gender Studies from Roosevelt University. Over the last decade in the KC metro, James has taught Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Central Missouri; served as Director of Education at the Kansas City Anti-Violence Project; and currently works for Our Spot KC as a case manager and grant writer. James is passionate about serving his community through education.
