Star Palmer is an advocate, organizer and activist for the the LGBTQ+ community. Star is currently the Executive Director for Our Spot KC (OSKC). OSKC’s mission is to provide safe, supportive, affirming and culturally informed programming, services and resources to empower and uplift the LGBTQ+ community in the KC metro area. She has spent over 10 years in community organizing and service for the LGBTQ+ community producing events from nightlife, community festivals, panel discussions, and fundraisers. Star is also a Regional Director for Alpha Psi Kappa Fraternity, Inc., a National non-profit, non-collegiate, social service organization for dominant lesbian WoMen.
