Tony Medina is a community advocate, working for increased awareness and prevention of suicide. He is currently a small business owner following a long career with a department store chain. Tony lives in Overland Park with his husband, Mark, along with their two dogs Zoe and Harper. Tony also serves as the President of SASS-MoKan, a nonprofit that supports survivors of suicide loss, is on the Board of the Friends of Johnson County Mental Health Center, is a member of the Johnson County Suicide Prevention Coalition, and has been a fundraiser and a public policy advocate for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
