Tony Medina is a community advocate, working for increased awareness and prevention of suicide. He is currently a small business owner following a long career with a department store chain, most recently serving as its marketing director. Tony lives in Overland Park with his husband, Mark, along with their two dogs Zoe and Harper. He serves as the Kansas City Pride Community Alliance (KCPCA) secretary and the chair of the Marketing Committee. Tony also serves on the Board for the Friends of Johnson County Mental Health Center, is a member of the Johnson County Suicide Prevention Coalition Leadership Team, has been a fundraiser and a public policy advocate for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
